...RED FLAG WARNING CONTINUES THROUGH THURSDAY FOR PORTIONS OF THE HIGH PLAINS... The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 9 AM to 8 PM MDT Thursday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 430, 431, 433, 435, 436, and 437. * WIND... West to northwest winds with gusts of 40 to 60 mph. * HUMIDITY...12 to 20 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Fire weather conditions will remain elevated overnight. Expect humidity recoveries only to around 35 to 45% with occasional wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph anticipated.
