Description: 
At 817 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over southern Omaha, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. This storm has a history of producing a tornado along the Platte River northeast of Ashland. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Sarpy and south central Douglas Counties. This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 446 and 448.
