At 713 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Wellfleet, or
14 miles northwest of Curtis, moving north at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Wellfleet and Somerset.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 52 and 71.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.
