Description:
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Nebraska, including the following
counties, Jefferson and Saline.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings
may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A band of heavy rain will continue to develop late this evening
and linger into early Saturday morning. Localized rainfall
amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected and could lead to flash
flooding, especially in areas that received recent heavy rain.
