At 348 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms across northern Gallatin, Broadwater and Meagher counties, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph with locally higher gusts in addition to lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bozeman, White Sulphur Springs, Fort Logan On The Smith River, Newlan Creek Reservoir, Maudlow, Lennep, Ringling, Martinsdale, Trident, Checkerboard, Fort Logan, and Missouri Headwaters State Park.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for south central, central and southwestern Montana.
