At 447 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Shepherd, or 16 miles northeast of Billings, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Worden, Ballantine, Shepherd and Huntley. This statement does not include the City of Billings.
