Description: 
At 142 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing funnel clouds and waterspouts over Waveland, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Waterspouts and funnel clouds and winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. If a funnel cloud briefly touches down, minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Long Beach, Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Pass Christian, Diamondhead, and Shoreline Park. This includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 13 and 24.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. If on or near marine areas, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
