Description:
At 1147 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Smyrna, or 7 miles southeast of Kosciusko, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Burnside and Stallo around 1205 AM CDT.
Noxapater around 1210 AM CDT.
Nanih Waiya around 1215 AM CDT.
Forestdale around 1220 AM CDT.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for central and
east central Mississippi.
