Description: 
At 1103 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from New Wren to 6 miles northwest of Prairie to 7 miles northeast of Griffith to Pala Alto. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... West Point around 1110 PM CDT. Columbus AFB around 1130 PM CDT. Kolola Springs around 1135 PM CDT. Caledonia around 1145 PM CDT.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northeastern Mississippi.
