At 817 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Belle Plaine to near Mapleton, or extending from 33 miles southwest of Minneapolis to 14 miles south of Mankato, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... North Mankato, Mankato, St. Peter, Le Sueur, Eagle Lake, Le Center, Belle Plaine, Jordan, Montgomery, New Prague, Carver, Shakopee, Lonsdale, Prior Lake and Savage.
