Description:
At 1015 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
of Canby, or 25 miles southwest of Montevideo, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...The AWOS station located at Myers Field in Canby reported a
61 mph wind gust.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Burr, Canby, Porter, Providence, St. Leo, Dawson, Boyd, Spring
Creek, Clarkfield and Spellman Lake.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm has produced damaging winds.
