Description:
At 1253 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Briley Township, or 11 miles northwest of Atlanta,
moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Former NWS employee.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
