At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mikado, or 8 miles east of Glennie, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Harrisville, Glennie, Mikado, Lincoln, Spruce, Black River,
Harrisville State Park, Lost Lake Woods, Hubbard Lake, Barton City,
Negwegon State Park, and Milen Township.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northern Michigan.
