At 949 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of Kentuck Lake Campground, or 9 miles southwest of Iron River, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Iron River, Crystal Falls, Stambaugh, Caspian, Gaastra, Alpha, Way Dam, Bewabic State Park, Stager, Hagerman Lake, Peavy Falls Dam, and Mineral Hills.
