* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Muskegon River at Newaygo.
* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flood water begins surrounding cottages
and homes on Sarrell Street in the City of Newaygo. Expect
moderate flooding downstream from the City of Newaygo in the areas
of Anderson Flats and Old Womens Bend in Garfield Township. Felch
Ave near Salmon run Campground and South River Lane become
impassable. In addition, expect moderate flooding in Sycamore
Flats, 100th Ave, and Sugarbush Lane in Ashland Township. Expect
all public river access sites to be closed.
