Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River Near Croton affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River At Evart affecting Osceola County. .1.5 To 2.5 inches of rain fell last night across much of Lower Michigan. This is in addition to the several inches of rain that have occurred in many spots previously. Additional showers and storms over the next 24 hours could add an additional 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain, making flooding worse. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Muskegon River at Newaygo. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Expect the Bridge Street Bridge in the City of Newaygo to be closed. Expect major flooding downstream from the City of Newaygo in the areas of Anderson Flats and Old Women's Bend in Garfield Township and Sycamore Flats, 100th Ave, and Sugarbush Lane in Ashland Township. Expect moderate flooding on Sarrell Street in the City of Newaygo. Expect Flech Ave near the Anderson Flats area to be closed.
