Grand River at Lansing affecting Ingham County.
Grand River at Ionia affecting Ionia County.
Red Cedar River At East Lansing affecting Ingham County.
Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County.
Thornapple River Above Hastings affecting Barry County.
Buck Creek at Grandville affecting Kent County.
Pine River at Alma affecting Gratiot County.
...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Michigan...
Sycamore Creek At Holt affecting Ingham County.
.1.5 To 2.5 inches of rain fell last night across much of Lower
Michigan. This is in addition to the several inches of rain that
have occurred in many spots previously. Additional showers and
storms over the next 24 hours could add an additional 0.5 to 1.5
inches of rain, making flooding worse.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Thornapple River above Hastings.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Expect minor flooding of River Road and
homes at Quimby along River Lane, Charlton Park, and Berry's
Landing.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 5.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 8.9 feet
early Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
8.8 feet on 04/20/2013.
