Description: 
At 625 AM EDT, a burst of snow was located along a line extending from near Somerset to 6 miles east of Point Marion. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. Locations impacted include... Cumberland, Frostburg, Westernport, Bel Air, Bittinger, La Vale, Lonaconing, Piedmont, Grantsville, Friendsville, Accident, Cresaptown, Potomac Park, Wiley Ford, Eckhart Mines, Mount Savage, Ellerslie, Barton, Corriganville, and Midland. This includes Interstate 68 in Maryland between mile markers 1 and 39. Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half of a mile in this burst of snow. A quick coating to half inch of snow is possible on elevated surfaces. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
