At 512 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Washburn, or 8 miles southwest of Caribou, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Mapleton, Washburn,
Woodland, Loring, Castle Hill, Perham, Caswell, and Wade.
This includes US Highway 1 near Caribou.
