At 1143 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Mooringsport to 8 miles south of Waskom, or extending from 21 miles northwest of Shreveport to 17 miles southwest of Shreveport, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Shreveport, Bossier City, Greenwood, Blanchard, Waskom, Benton, Mooringsport, Fosters, Cross Lake, Dixie, Ferguson, Barksdale Air Force Base, Forbing, Bethany, Caddo Lake, Red Chute, Linton and Bodcau.
