At 549 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Youngsville, or near Lafayette, moving west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Torrential rainfall and runoff.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Scott, Broussard, Youngsville, Maurice, and Milton.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 100 and
102.
Instruction:
If water covers the roadway, turn around don't drown.
