Description: 
At 652 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Poplarville to near Folsom. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Bogalusa, Picayune, Covington, Franklinton, Poplarville, Abita Springs, Varnado, Madisonville, Folsom, Sun, Enon, Crossroads, Mount Herman, Bush, Mcneil, and Angie. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 12 between mile markers 54 and 64. Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 4 and 38.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southeastern Louisiana...and southern Mississippi.
