Description: 
At 716 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Russellville to 8 miles north of Portland to 6 miles northwest of Westmoreland. Movement was northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Russellville, Scottsville, Franklin, Adairville, Justice, Gordonsville, Black Jack, Hilltop, Dennis, and Clare.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for south central Kentucky.
