Description:
At 315 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Zula to 6 miles southwest of
Tompkinsville. Movement was east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tompkinsville, Albany, Burkesville, Leslie, Gamaliel, Fountain Run,
Littrell, Desda, Cartwright, and Snow.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
south central Kentucky.
