Description:
At 242 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jamestown to 11 miles south of Memphis
Junction. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Glasgow, Columbia, Scottsville, Tompkinsville, Jamestown, Edmonton,
Burkesville, Leslie, Franklin, and Russell Springs.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
