At 203 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Russellville to near Fort Campbell. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Oak Grove, Elkton, Fort Campbell, Clarksville, Guthrie, Pembroke, Trenton, Justice, Allensville, and Herndon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 80 and 92. Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 2.
