Description:
At 1019 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Georgetown to near Dunbar High School to 8
miles west of Nicholasville. Movement was east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lexington, Richmond, Nicholasville, Winchester, Paris, Cardinal Hill,
Cadentown, Fayette Mall, Veterans Park, and Bryan Station.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for
central Kentucky.
