At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Anniston, or near East Prairie, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Charleston, East Prairie, Towosahgy State Historic Site, Big Oak Tree State Park, Bertrand, Wyatt, Anniston, Columbus, and Wilson City. This includes Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 3 and 15.
