...The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers...
Eagle Creek near Glencoe.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Eagle Creek near Glencoe.
* WHEN...Until this morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flood waters reach to near McDaniel Street
and Route 36 in Sanders, with water extending onto the edges of
Old Sparta road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 PM EDT Friday the stage was 15.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early this morning to a crest of 18.2 feet early this
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early this
morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
