Description:
At 1054 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Ryus to near Plains to 6 miles north of
Forgan. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Sublette and Meade State Park around 1100 PM CDT.
Meade, Missler, and Tice around 1105 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these storms include Copeland and
Fowler.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
