Description: 
At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms in Lincoln County, along a line extending from near Victor to 7 miles southeast of Sylvan Grove. Movement was northeast at 60 mph. Over the next half hour, some of this activity will enter Mitchell County, and could potentially further strengthen. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Beloit, Asherville, Simpson, and Victor.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central Kansas.
