...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Salt Creek near Ada affecting Ottawa County. Solomon River near Niles affecting Dickinson, Saline and Ottawa Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Solomon River near Niles. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water begins to overflow into the low portion of a cultivated field on the right bank, upstream, adjacent to the gage site. At 23.0 feet, Rural overflow begins around the community of Niles. At 24.0 feet, Low land flooding continues along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 24.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this morning and continue falling to 10.8 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
