Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. Solomon River near Niles affecting Saline, Ottawa and Dickinson Counties. Republican River at Clay Center affecting Clay County. Saline River at Tescott affecting Saline and Ottawa Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Solomon River at Minneapolis. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Intersection of the Mulberry Road and 80th Road floods. At 26.0 feet, The river just west of the Highway 106 bridge floods. At 31.0 feet, Markley Grove Park floods. At 32.0 feet, Baseball field in Ottawa County fairgrounds floods. At 32.7 feet, Flood waters enter first floor of second home south of the river on the east side of Highway 106. At 33.0 feet, Water rises to base of the County Road 106 bridge in Minneapolis. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 3.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 32.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
