...The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas... Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard. * WHEN...From early this morning to tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Expect flooding of agricultural fields to an extent of 3/4 of a mile coverage. Flood waters cover Highway 284 east of the creek bridge to around 260th Road, expect road closure. Numerous roads along and near the Salt Creek flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
