At 307 PM MDT/407 PM CDT/, a wall of dust was along a line extending from 8 miles north of Colby to 9 miles south of Levant to 10 miles northeast of Wallace to 6 miles southwest of Sharon Springs to 11 miles southeast of Cheyenne Wells, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Less than one quarter mile visibility in blowing dust and 60 mph northwest wind gusts. SOURCE...Public report of near zero visibility with blowing dust in Sharon Springs at 305 PM MDT. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel. This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 37 and 75. Locations impacted include... Colby, Oakley, Sharon Springs, Levant, Weskan, Rexford, and Winona.
