At 738 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Huxley, or 7 miles south of Ames, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornado will be near... Ames, Nevada, and Cambridge around 745 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Maxwell, Kelley, Cambridge, Ames Municipal Airport, Sheldahl, and Alleman. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 98 and 118.
