At 345 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles west of Coal
Creek, or 10 miles south of Montezuma, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Montezuma, New Sharon, and Barnes City.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for south central
and central Iowa.
