Description:
At 216 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fulton, or near
Maquoketa, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Maquoketa, Bellevue, Preston, Sabula, Miles, Andrew, La Motte,
Monmouth, Springbrook, Zwingle, Spragueville, Fulton, Hurstville,
Green Island, Nashville, Canton, Van Buren, Baldwin, Emeline, and
Otter Creek.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and northeastern and east central Iowa.
