At 806 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of Hooper to near Woodcliff to 2 miles southwest of Leshara to near Ithaca. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. * Locations impacted include... Omaha, western Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Fremont, Papillion, Blair, Ralston, Wahoo, Gretna, Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Millard, Offutt AFB, La Vista, Plattsmouth, Carter Lake, Valley, Springfield, and Arlington. People attending Charles Schwab Field, and BRAN-44 should seek safe shelter. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Iowa near mile marker 1. Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 432 and 454.
