* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southern, central, and into northeastern Iowa. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening produced scattered reports of 2-3 inches of rainfall across the area. Additional thunderstorms are forecast overnight and any additional rainfall in these areas could lead to flash flooding and rapid rises on local streams and rivers.
