Description:
At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Haven, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Wayne, New Haven, Woodburn, Tillman, Edgerton In Allen County,
Townley, Hessen Cassel, Zulu, and Maples.
This includes Interstate 469 between mile markers 9 and 24.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
northeastern Indiana...and northwestern and west central Ohio.
