Description:
At 118 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Terre Haute to 6 miles
north of Linton. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Spencer, Jasonville, Knightsville, Clay City, Center Point, Riley,
Coal City, Bowling Green, Freedom, Patricksburg, Reelsville,
Coalmont, Cory, Saline City, Cagles Mill Lake, and Vicksburg.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 16 and 38.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM EDT for
southwestern and west central Indiana.
