Description:
At 648 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles south of Nashville, or 17 miles northwest of Seymour, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Nashville, Hope, Elizabethtown, Hartsville, Clifford,
Jonesville, Newbern, Waymansville, Gnaw Bone, Grammer, Spurgeons
Corner, Azalia, Country Squire Lakes, Stone Head, Story, Elkinsville,
and Taylorsville.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 55 and 74.
