Description:
At 642 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spencer, or 12 miles west of Bloomington, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bloomington, Martinsville, Spencer, Ellettsville, Morgantown,
Gosport, Paragon, Stinesville, Mahalasville, Helmsburg, McCormicks
Creek State Park, Lake Lemon, Beanblossom, Spearsville, and
Unionville.
