Description:
At 622 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Bloomington, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bloomington, Nashville, Indiana University, Smithville, Harrodsburg,
Yellowwood Lake, Monroe Reservoir, Woodville Hills, Elkinsville,
Fairfax State Recreation Area, Charles Deam Wilderness, Story, and
Whitehall.
