Description:
At 1015 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northeast of Salem, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Scottsburg, Vienna, Austin, Lexington, Kent, Little York, Wakefield,
Volga, Deputy, and Blocher.
Instruction:
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for
south central Indiana.
