Description:
At 128 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
St. Francisville, or 9 miles south of Vincennes, moving east at 60
mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Vincennes, Washington, Monroe City, Wheatland, Montgomery, Decker,
Cannelburg, Alfordsville, West Boggs Lake, and Glendale Fishery.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
southwestern Indiana.
