Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
White River at Elliston.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers and
locations in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Seymour.
White River at Edwardsport, Newberry, Petersburg, and Hazleton.
Eel River at Bowling Green.
.Rainfall amounts of up to 2.40 inches today in isolated locations
combined with two to nearly four inches over much of central and
southern Indiana yesterday is bring producing minor flooding to
portions of the East Fork White and middle to lower White River
basins. Minor flooding developing on the lower Wabash is possible as
well, but confidence is low there. Locally higher amounts may cause
rises that are higher than current crests indicate, and those with
interests along area rivers should keep updated with the latest
information as additional forecasts and warnings are issued.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Hazleton.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to Friday, May 29.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Most of the low bottomlands flood.
Flooding begins in higher bottomlands. High water affects any
residents in Pottsville river cabins. Pottsville Road...North C
Street on river side of railroad tracks and Catt Street near U.S.
Highway 41 are flooded. Water is near or starting on Giro Road in
the vicinity of submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields
flood. Flood gates must be installed at Hazleton.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 20.9 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday, May
29.
