...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
White River at Elliston.
White River at Edwardsport.
White River at Newberry.
.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches since Monday in the White basin
will bring minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of
the White River that could last through much of next week along the
lower White.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Elliston.
* WHEN...From late tonight to late Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Eastern portion of CR 100 S in Greene
County floods leading to Plummer. Flooding covers all low
bottomlands.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 14.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 20.9 feet Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
