White River at Newberry. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches since Monday in the White basin will bring minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the White River that could last through much of next week along the lower White. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Edwardsport. * WHEN...From late tonight to late Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Old Vincennes Road and State Road 358 in Daviess County and Schaefer Road in Knox County are impassable. High water affects agricultural bottomlands. During agricultural season this level is of concern to farmers on the unprotected areas along the river. High water affects river cabins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM EDT Wednesday /6:00 AM CDT Wednesday/ the stage was 10.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 18.1 feet Friday evening.
